Dr. R. VENKAT REDDY, Principal of Avanthi Scientific Technological & Research Academy. He has graduated B.E (Mechanical Engineering) from Marathwada University in 1989, M.Tech (Production Engineering) from JNTUH in 2001.He awarded Ph.D (Mechanical Engineering) from Osmania University in 2013. He has more than 32 years in research , teaching & Industrial experience.
He guided 3 Ph.D’s were guided at NIT, A.P and 1 Ph.D guided at JJTU. He has delivered many ‘invited talks’ and ‘Guest Lectures’ at National level and has authored 7 Text books, 4 Patents, 70 Papers Published, 47 Papers Published in International Journals ( SCI-10, SCOPUS-17 & UGC-20), 3 Papers Published in National Journals, 5 Papers Published in International Conferences (SCI-02) ,7 Papers Published in National Conferences .With the keen interest to promote and develop research, he has organized many International and National Conferences like International Conferences,Workshops and Seminars etc.,
He has received many awards and honors for his service which “Best Teacher Award”, “Out Standing Engineering Services to society” award on 75th Independence day, in 2021 from Institution of Engineers (India) Rajasthan state, “Best Appreciation” Award from Youth for work ,AICTE, New Delhi and from IUCEE, USA”. etc., He has been a part of teaching, research, training and consultancy.With his rich academic and research experience, he has been instrumental in executed Sponsored Research project funded from AICTE. He organised International Conference, “ ICETMSE”(2020).
He is the fellow member of institute of Engineering & life member of IAOIP, IEEE, FIE, MISTE, MIIPE, CMTI, IRCS. He advised Reviewer in International Journals like Blue Eyes Intelligence Pvt. Ltd. (IJEAT, IJRTE, IJITEE, IJISME, IJAENT, IJIES, IJESE). He is Editorial Board member for International Association of Engineers (IAENG),IJCESR and Member for International Society for Research and Development (ISRD) & Board of Studies (BOS) - Chairman, Anurag University, Hyderabad, K.G. Reddy College of Engineering &Technology, Hyderabad and Associate Member in International Society for Development and Sustainability ( ISDS)
He Implemented OBE at Institute level as a Coordinator in Executed OBE strategies in preparing COs, PSOs and Course Curriculum, Conducting various programs for creating awareness in faculty on OBE in our group of colleges, According to the attainment levels, conducting the guest lectures, seminars, workshops, industrial visits etc. For Better understanding of the subject, arranged NPTEL Video lectures for the benefit of the students. Inspection committee member for other departments in our group of institutions and in our college during NBA ,NIRF and NAAC visits. Mechanical Engineering Department is accredited by NBA TIER-1in 2015 and Reaccredited by NBA - TIER-1 in 2018.
